'Shine Bright like a Diamond' Fenty Beauty launch

Brit Award winning Singer, Rihanna, has announced through an Instagram live that her makeup line Fenty Beauty is to launch two new products on the 6th April, as part of the summer time collection.

The products, which will be launched in Harvey Nichols, was welcomed by Fenty Beauty's 3.6 million followers, as they announced a new highlighting product, aptly named Body Lava. The product is an ultra- shimmery body illuminiser and comes in two shades: A lighter, pink toned shimmer named Who Needs Clothes and a deeper copper- coloured glitter named Brown Sugar.

The product, which is set to make you shine all summer long, can also be brought with a brush to help with easy application and Rihanna has uploaded via Twitter, tips and tricks to help you create the perfect glow, as she showcases a number of videos with her applying the product to herself.

The second product launching in a unique idea of a powder puff filled with shimmer, cleverly named Fairy Bomb. When speaking about the product, Beauty Guru Jeffree Star admitted he was "A little nervous at first" but "It looked amazing, especially in natural lighting, perfect for the beach."

Fenty Beauty launched in 2017 and caught critics and fans attention, in particular with the release of her foundation, which contained a wide array of shades and raised the subject of why more established brands were not able to cater to everyone in the market, with focus on the lack of shades for darker skin tones from brands such as Estee Lauder, YSL and Tarte. Beauty Youtuber, Sophie (Sophdoesnails) explains “ We were all shocked at the shade range of Fenty Beauty, but really we shouldn’t have been, companies should have been already catering to every skin tone."
