I love scrolling through Etsy and Instagram and checking out all the lovely products available from small businesses. This is a hobby-turned-addiction that has only become worse during lockdown ( I am a sucker to the siren call of indie earring brands.) I know that many of us have been getting more creative, and dressing a little differently since lockdown began, and therefore couldn't think of a more perfect time to shout about the small businesses I love...

Alexa_Handmade

Creating beautiful clay earrings, I stumbled across Alexa through an instagram story. Dainty and precise, these incredible handmade earrings have a cutesy charm that adds a bit of delicate to any outfit. From beginning to end messaging Alexa to order was just a lovely experience, and her instagram feed is to die for. Professional, clean and full of colour stories, even if you don't have your ears pierced you need to give her a follow! ( They make the perfect gift)

Kellys Vintage Makes

Fed up of earrings that add no character to your outfit? Then say no more and head to Kellys Vintage Makes. Full of colourful creations, there is a range of earrings on offer, from retro sweets to some of your favourite cartoon characters ( because who doesn't want Kermit the Frog earrings.) I've become a bit addicted and recently added balloon dog and turtle earrings to my collection, but there is also a range of bracelets, necklaces and broaches available. You don't need a statement outfit for these earrings, because they are the statement, perfect for days out taking those Insta shots. What I've learnt from following their Instagram, is that they never slow down. Theres always new designs available, so keep an eye on them!

StitchFinity

StitchFinity provides all your Cross Stitch needs. I specifically fell in love with their rainbow earrings, where £2 of your purchase is donated to well child. The design is easy to follow and is super dainty, yet colourful ( I was worried about them being too heavy for my ears.) They also have loads of other cute designs, including donut earrings ( which I 100% have my eye on.) If you are like me and have always wanted to get into Cross Stitch, but didn't see the point of creating something to hang on a wall ( a problem with renting) then this is perfect for you! Added bonus is super quick delivery!

The Make Arcade

The Make Arcade showcase some of the cutest Cross Stitch patterns I have ever seen. This was the first Cross Stitch pattern I ordered in lockdown ( of course it was a Gin bottle) and when the package came I fell head over heels for The Make Arcade, simply because of the beautiful package and attention to detail ( I don't want to say to much, just place your order and you'll understand.) This is the perfect beginners Cross Stitch, with step- by-step instructions that are super easy to follow. I was super content with my creation, and would love to see yours!

MadeByGeorgiaMai

MadeByGeorgiaMai is all about supporting good mental wellbeing. With super inspirational quote products and stickers on sale, this brand just captures positivity in the best way possible. If you need a little pick-me-up in lockdown I 100% recommend checking out her products, I've personally stuck some motivating stickers to my iPad case to remind me that I can get through anything. The stickers are also great to pop into cards to send to your friends who may be having a rough time right now, it'll be the best thing they receive all week... I promise. Currently MadeByGeorgiaMai is selling a range of Black Live Matter merchandise to raise money for charity, I personally recommend the keyring and pin badges to show your support.
