Halloween is going to be different this year. That is just a fact. I, for one, will miss the little trick-or-treater's knocking on my door, and rushing the store to put together a costume for those messy parties. While I will still be carving a pumpkin to guard my front door, I've put together a list of products that have still allowed me to enjoy my favourite season from the comfort of my own home. While searching the superstores I was disappointed with many of the seasonal things on offer. However, one positive of this is that many products included are from small businesses, and that means that every single purchase means so much to them.

Scent

Pumpkin spice anyone? For me, it's not truly Autumn until this scent overtakes my home. While I normally reach for the nearest candle, this year wax melts are having a huge moment. My personal choice this year was the Halloween set from The Soycery Co. These hand poured soy wax melts are CLP compliant, and come in the most adorable shapes and colours. The Halloween box included 4 scents, all of which have been incredible and on top of this, I purchased a Pumpkin Spice snap bar, to create that all important scent in my home. The Soycery Co have some great scents coming up for Christmas, and are perfect for those people that are tricky to buy for, so make sure to check them out.

Stickers

I am obsessed with stickers, which overtake my scrapbook. There were so many independents creating Halloween stickers this year, I was in my element. My all time personal favourite is Dorkface Creates, which had one of the best Halloween collections I've seen this year. As well as stickers, I also picked up some Ghost washi tape, which was perfect for using to frame my pumpkin patch photos, as well as some super adorable prints, that now feature on my wall.

Another independent that caught my eye this year was PeachandMimi, who created the most perfect Animal crossing themed Halloween stickers ( which you know, I am obsessed with!) These stickers were bigger than the ones I usually use in my scrapbook, but were perfect to fill pages were there's not so many photos.

Accesories

I love love LOVE earrings and therefore its no surprise that I ended up with three pairs of Halloween ones this year.

The first pair I purchased was from my long term fave, and queen of earrings, Kellysvintagemakes. Everyone knows I absolutely adore Hello Kitty, so I just had to have Mummy Hello Kitty earrings. As always the quality is super high and they don't irritate my ears at all.

My second pair were from a new find, Sunpuff Studios. Her mystic Snail earrings caught my attention and I instantly fell in love with them. A massive statement piece to any Autumn outfit, I expected these earrings to be slightly heavy, but to my surprise they are super light and comfortable.

My third pair was something I discovered on Twitter ( a surprise as I usually find everything over Insta!) From the creator of The True Crime Witch Podcast, these adorable pumpkin earrings add a subtle hint to my favourite season to my everyday outfit. These are the earrings I would recommend if you just want to add one pair of Halloween earrings to your collection.

Decorations

My decorations have been really basic this year. While I am not able to have a Halloween party, I did not want to overdo the decorations and therefore just selected a couple of bits to add to my room. As I mentioned earlier, the shops have had really disappointing collections this year, however I found Wilko had the best collection of decorations, where I Brought this super glitzy pumpkin candle holder and some festive Halloween Tinsel. I found that the best supermarket for Halloween decorations this year was Sainsburys, although some bits were pricy. From here, I brought a witches brew mug that glows when you add hot liquid ( after this month I will probably use it to store my Halloween earrings) as well as a Halloween themed plastic cup, so I can still enjoy my drinks at home when the night finally comes around.

I hope this list inspires you to bring Halloween home! I would love to hear about any festive finds you have been loving this year. Stay Witchy and stay safe x
